Through the Hosea Vocational Placement Program (VPP) we have had the opportunity to partner with various local businesses within the community. We are so incredibly grateful for the community collaborators that make the VPP a reality, one of those being The Webfoot Bar & Grill.

Webfoot is currently employing TWO of our youth. Providing them with invaluable restaurant and waitstaff experience. Webfoot’s owners first reached out to us back in the Fall and immediately wanted to take part in providing youth with job training and placement opportunities at their restaurant.

Through this long-term work placement, Webfoot is able to provide our youth with the much needed support of job skill building and training needed to help provide them with one of the crucial components of a life away from the street: sustainable employment. Webfoot has been an incredible positive work experience for our youth thus far and we look forward to our continued partnership!

Are you a local business owner interested in what a partnership with Hosea Youth Services could look like? Are you interested in helping provide work opportunities to the homeless and at-risk youth of our community? We would love to meet and talk with you about what a partnership could look like.

Lane County is such an incredible community filled with people who eagerly provide support to their local non-profits. We thank you all so much for the continued support, love and care that you have shown not only to Hosea but to the at-risk and homeless youth in our county. Let’s work together to help youth create and sustain healthy lives away from the streets!

Sincerely,

Karri Tinnes
