We were invited to attend the SVDP Bill Barr Memorial Golf Classic a couple weeks ago and we had such an incredible time! We got to know the CASA and Will Leather Goods representatives as our tables were placed in the same area. So, not only were we able to connect with various golfers in attendance supporting SVDP and their program that helps provide affordable housing units for 450 children, but we were also able to connect with fellow community members.

We learned so much about what Will Leather Goods does not only within their business, but how much they support and are involved with organizations within the Lane County community. Visit their shop down on 5th street, you can’t miss it!

CASA is and was selling Great Rotary Raffle tickets as they are one of the 2017 recipient agencies (along with Bridgeway House, The Child Center, Family Relief Nurser and Parenting Now!). For the raffle there are some pretty incredible prizes: a 2017 Hyundai Sonata SE PZEV, A $6,500 Cornucopia of Colored Gem Stone Pendant and a $5,000 Jerry’s Shopping Spree. So if you haven’t already, snag your tickets now! And more importantly than the great prizes are the organizations that this will be benefiting. For more information go check out the Great Rotary Raffle website at: greatrotaryraffle.com.

Thanks to the Lane County community who continues to support local non-profits, ourselves included! We could not do what we do without you.

We also recently had NCU’s Embrace the Community Day! We loved having the NCU softball team down at the drop-in to work on various projects. They did a ton of work and the place looks amazing! This Tuesday we will be at the NCU Community Fair which will be a great time to recruit potential interns and future staff members. Come out and see us from 11:30am – 12:30pm at the Morse Event Center. We love partnering with NCU in this way!
