Mike Langley (mlangley@hoseayouth.org) In 1976, Mike moved to Eugene with a Shiloh Youth Revival Center ministry music group, involved in service to youth, especially in outreach. Then in 1995 while participating in a "breakfast kitchen" (an outreach to the general homeless population), Mike and others saw a great need to specifically address the needs of homeless youth. As specific outreach to them was established it gradually evolved into Hosea Youth Services. Beginning as a volunteer and serving on the HYS board of Directors, Mike became employed as Center and Program Director in 1997. Mike and his family live on 90 acres in the foothills of Oregon's Coast Range where they raise and rescue wild and domestic mustangs - which has become an important part of their ministry to needy youth and their families. |
