Get Involved

We rely on volunteers for almost everything we do. Generally about 100 volunteers give about 1,000 hours a year to maintain the services provided. If you would like to get involved please contact our Center for a "Volunteer Application" form or contact us in one of the following ways:

Hosea Youth Services volunteers get involved by doing the following:

• Serve meals,
• Hang out with Kids,
• Staff the Shelter Program,
• Provide Security,
• Building Maintenance,
• Job Crews and work projects,
• Clerical and office assistance,
• Errands and shopping,
• Counsel and guidance,
• Events and activities (hiking, camping, concerts, etc.),
• Fund raising activities and projects,
• Street outreach and contact work,
• Professional services - legal, medical, plumbing, etc.
• Tutoring, training, job skills,
• Specialized interests (like the Glass Guild or Music),
• Printing, graphic art, layout, etc.
• Web design and maintenance
